Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Hello friends, members, and colleagues!

The Summer Dream Getaway contest is officially closed, so it's voting time!

Please be sure to read the Overview and Guidlines below before voting.

Also, if anyone else is interested in donating prizes of any kind, please note me. Here is a link to the prizes that we have so far.

Overview

As I mentioned in the Contest Blog, this contest has been a tremendous success! With 100 + entries submitted, we have had more activity then I had imagined, and I am so excited about it! I thank you all for participating, and wish you the best of success in the voting process.

The 107 entries have been split into 3 sections, to be voted on in 3 separate Journal entries.

There will be 4 Finalists from each of the 3 Voting journals, making 12 finalists altogether. The 12 Finalists will be 12 different deviants. These 12 finalists will all be listed in a 4th and final Voting Journal, to determine the top 4 winners of the contest.

Each Voting Journal will be open for 2 weeks. I will put a counter on the front page of #AllArt-R-US, so keep an eye on it.

The order of the following entries has no significance.

If you do not see your entry listed, don't panic. Just go to the contest journal, and see if your entry is listed somewhere between 1 - 35. If it is, and does not appear here, please note the Founder right away.

Voting Guidelines

There will be 4 finalists in this group of entries.
To vote, list your top 4 favorites, using the numbers I have assigned each entry.

You must list at least 3 entries. You can list as many as you like, but I will only count your top 4.
