Every Saturday, (well, not quite. Sorry I got busy this weekend! ) #AllArt-R-US publishes an interview with a selected member from our community. (Interview requests are not open right now, but they will open up again in September, and with new rules to make it even more fun. Stay tuned!)

This week I am interviewing and featuring *P-cate, a digital artist from Chile. (My questions are in bold.)

1. Thanks for taking the time to do this interview with me! How do you feel about doing it?
I never had an interview before HAHA! XD It makes me feel kind of important, lol.


2. Why did you join DeviantART?
Hmmm, when I was 10 years old, I always searched Naruto pics or drawings; the awesome drawings always came from deviantART. I am an artist, at that time I wasn´t a good one, but I wanted to join anyways. I was not afraid about this wonderful world


3. What is your favorite thing about DeviantART?
ART, obviously, not those ponys and Korra fanart everywhere.  xD I mean ART, the kind of drawings that are born from the heart. Someone can find truly beatiful artworks here.


4. What is your favorite hobby (not related to art)?
Videogames! I´m just addicted to them, preferably the horror ones and games like "Shadow of the Colossus," original games *u*.


5. What got you interested in art, and how long ago was it?
Since I was born, I think,but I started drawing when i was four. Apparently when I was six I took the drawing seriously, and I wanted to become an artist.


6. I see you have some fan art in your gallery. What's your favorite fandom?
Hmmmm, I don´t like doing fanarts =u= I don´t want to be those people who gain popularity with fanarts, but I have two drawings of "Snake" from Metal Gear Solid,and some sketches about RE, and some other drawings [link] They´re few, the rest of my gallery is original °u°


7. Do you have something that you enjoy doing while making artwork (listen to music, etc.)?
Music relaxes me xD I save Hisashi´s concerts, complete soundtracks and stuff like that. That kind of music has a duration of like an hour haha, so is really useful °u°.


8. You're going on a trip and have very little room for luggage. You can take only one unnecessary item. What is it?
Unnecesary item? Like...hmm, I don´t know, everything is neccesary for me, haha xD


9. What do you consider your best artwork?
This one *u*


10. What do you consider your worst?
Ugh...ahm xD...:thumb302787097: LOL, don´t look at iiiit xDDDDDDDD, it has horrible anatomy!!


11. What artists inspire you?
Hmmm, *u* from DA They´re amazing! *3* Not from DA I like Joe Hisashi´s music, and Ghibili Studios xD


12. What is your favorite style of art to look at (includes reading)?
Ahm....semi-realistic, lineless.


13. What influenced you to join AllArt-R-Us?
Well....this group is popular, xD not elitist, accepts all art,and I said "I'LL JOIN!" HAHA XD


14. What is your favorite thing about AllArt-R-Us?
I really like the kind of groups that don´t have a limit of submissions like "1 per month,"and I think EVERYONE LOVES the kind of groups that accept all kinds of art!


15. What advice would you give to a fellow artist?
Well...i think this one is repeated many times, maybe for someone doesn´t work because it takes a lot of time...but PRACTISE, is the only way. I´m not saying you to draw one day and the other not, and draw whenever you want, I mean, if you want to get really better you must practise EVERY SINGLE DAY of your life, and suffer. Maybe you´ll be frustrated because you can´t draw something, but YOU MUST CONTINUE TRYING! Don´t give up NEVER - that is my method. Most of the time I can´t paint faces with normal skin (I can paint them in a blue tone or in a green tone, but not in human skin ._.). Yea it´s really stupid LOL, but I keep trying, and getting frustrated, but I know that someday I´ll make it.
